The Longest Daycare tulee televisiosta 17. helmikuuta

Sub esittää Simpsonit-lyhytelokuvan The Longest Daycaren sunnuntaina 17. helmikuuta kello 13.25. Sitä ei aiemmin ole esitetty Suomessa. Alun perin se pyöri elokuvateattereissa Ice Age 4 – Mannerten mullistus -elokuvan alkupalana viime vuonna.

The Longest Daycaren on ainoa Simpsonien pohjalta tehty lyhytelokuva. Maggie-aiheinen filmi on ehdolla parhaan lyhytanimaation Oscarin saajaksi. Oscarit jaetaan 24. helmikuuta.

Hmm.. Tulipahan vilkaistua.. Liekkö syynä se että lyhytelokuvassa ei puhuttu vaiko mikä, mutta nyt on erittäin hankala arvioida.
Pisteet kummiskin alun "Disney-viittauksesta"
(kaikki wanhoja Disney-animaatioita katsoneet tietävät että samaan tyyliin tuli monessa piirretyssä "päähahmon" naama alkuun). Myös actionleffamaisuus oli hyvin saatu aikaan lastentarhan ympäristöön.

Simpsonit jäi ilman Oscaria

Simpsonit-lyhytelokuva The Longest Daycare jäi ilman palkintoa aikaisin tänä aamuna Suomen aikaa järjestetyssä Oscar-gaalassa. Parhaan animaatiolyhytelokuvan Oscarin nappasi John Kahrsin ohjaama Paperman. Kyseessä oli Simpsonien ensimmäinen Oscar-ehdokkuus.

Katsoin tuon lyhärin Google+:ssan kautta, ja minusta se oli aika hyvä lyhäriksi.
Toimintaa oli sopivasti, Maggie oli vauhdissa ja se hänen tuskainen olemus perhosen kuoleman takia. Mutta myös loppu oli hyvä, Gerard-vauva sai kaihtimista päähän ja perhonen paljastuikin Maggien rusetiksi.

Mua ei jaksa nuo Oscarit kiinnostaa, ne ovat vain pystejä.
