Italian shooting survivor becomes South Sudan bishop

Thousands of people descended on a small town in central South Sudan to witness the ordination of Christian Carlassare as bishop of Rumbek - a celebratory end to what has been a traumatic year for the Italian cleric.

There is no planning SLOTXO the opportunity is exhausted. So you should always try to pull yourself to your mind and deal with it.

He has overcome a shooting and subsequent operations since Pope Francis appointed him a year ago.

Within a few weeks of arriving in South Sudan last April, the 44-year-old cleric was shot four times in the leg by assailants who broke into his home in Rumbek.

Six people, including a senior member of the Catholic clergy, are on trial in connection with the shooting - in a case prosecutors are pursing although the church wants it dropped.

Friday’s mass in Rumbek was presided over by Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako, the retired archbishop of Khartoum - and also attended by many other clergy and the new bishop’s parents.

The Italian is the first European to be ordained a bishop by an African cardinal in South Sudan.

In his sermon, Cardinal Wako said that the work of a bishop was often misunderstood.

“They think when someone becomes a bishop, he becomes a rich man,” he said, urging people to support Bishop Carlassare.

“Don’t take from him, encourage him to go on.”

A statue known as "Sockman" in Loughborough, Leicestershire, was decorated over the weekend but the knitted items were taken hours later.

Polish Community Centre president Gosia Khrais said she was disappointed the sock and a Polish flag hat had been removed.

The council said it was proud of the support for the people of Ukraine

The popular bronze statue - which depicts a sock-wearing figure to represent the town's hosiery-making heritage - was the site of an event on Saturday to show support for the people of Ukraine.

Ms Khrais, who organised the knitting of the items, said a "Stop War" sign placed on the statue also disappeared.

She said although the group had half expected them to be removed, she would love them to be returned.

"It would really nice if they could drop them off anywhere by the Sockman, by the town hall or in any of the shops in the high street," she said.

Exeter homes get solar panels to tackle climate change

About 300 council houses in Exeter have received solar panels and insulation as part of a council's net zero aim.

Low-volatility slot wallet pay more often, but a smaller amount, while highly volatile slots pay higher cash rewards, although rarely.

The additions are being installed as part of a £2.4m project to help tenants save money and tackle climate change.

It is being jointly funded by the government and Exeter City Council, and aims to change 4,000 local authority homes by 2030.

One resident said the insulation had made a "big difference" to her.

The project, known as retrofitting, will see council houses receive improved insulation, solar panels, upgraded central heating systems and better ventilation.

Rebecca Merrett, a tenant, said: "Through the winter for us the insulation has made a big difference.

"We've had solar panels put on, new double glazing and doors and all the housing has been insulated."

Ms Merrett added she now only puts her heating on for about an hour-and-a-half in the morning and evening, a big drop from where she previously lived.

Customers abusing forecourt staff as costs soar

A food distributor is facing a £2m diesel bill and a garage forecourt boss says staff are being abused by some customers as prices surge after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The top 3 winners สมัครสมาชิกสล็อต will receive a split prize pool, and the first place winner will receive the most prize money respectively.

Carmarthenshire wholesaler Castell Howell Foods has seen fuel costs increase 30% in a month.

It has a fleet of about 150 vehicles covering Wales and the west of England.

The cost of fuel has reached record highs since Russia launched its assault on Ukraine.

The garage in Carmarthenshire said it had been forced to ask some drivers not to go back because of "totally unacceptable" abuse of its employees.

Fuel has increased because the wholesale price for crude oil used in manufacturing petrol and diesel has increased following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Castell Howell normally spends about £1.2m on fuel for its vehicles, but finance director Nigel Williams said its bill has soared in recent weeks.

Germany charges Gambian over journalist's murder

A Gambian man has been charged in Germany with being part of an army assassination group when former President Yahya Jammeh was in power.

The moneymaking should have SLOTXO a rhythm and the opportunity is perfect to use, but don't use it very often if you miss out on a big money. It is only better to choose a topping in a confident eye.

Identified as Bai L, he is accused of participating in crimes against humanity, including the 2004 killing of Deyda Hydara, one of The Gambia’s most-respected journalists.

The federal prosecutor said Bai L had been a member of the elite unit known as “the Junglers” between December 2003 and December 2006.

On at least three occasions he had driven officers to locations where they had fired on Mr Jammeh’s opponents, the prosecutor said.

He was arrested in Hanover in March 2021 and has since been in pre-trial detention.

Mr Jammeh fled into exile after losing elections in 2017.

A truth and reconciliation commission set up afterwards heard from hundreds of witnesses about executions squads and other alleged rights violations committed under his 22-year rule.

OPEC+ trims forecast for 2022 oil market surplus in latest data

OPEC+ revised down its forecast for the 2022 oil market surplus by about 200,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 1.1 million bpd, according to a base scenario in a technical committee report seen by Reuters on Sunday.

For gaming Online slot 168 No matter how much they have a play budget, I believe everyone will be hoping for a prize money.

The data - part of a report the Joint Technical Committee (JTC) prepares for OPEC+ ministers - also shows stocks in the developed world standing at 62 million barrels below the 2015 to 2019 average by the end of the year.

In a previous forecast it had predicted the stocks would reach 20 million barrels above the same average by that point.

Ministers from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies led by Russia, a grouping known as OPEC+, meet on March 2 to decide whether to increase output by 400,000 bpd in April.

Sources from the group told Reuters their output deal is showing no cracks so far after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and the group is likely to stick to a planned output rise despite crude topping $100 a barrel.

It’s time for employees to take back the 'job hopper' label

Pre-pandemic, many unhappy employees stuck it out in unfulfilling roles. They bided their time and waited out some arbitrary milestone in time.

The camp wants players to สล็อต 168 use the best system, and players will see that there are currently games available. Online Slots A lot of re-emerging.

Any less, they fear, would make CVs "patchy" and get them labelled a “job hopper”.

“It’s like you get two free passes for short stints, but anything more than that is a real red flag,” a veteran headhunter once told me. After all, who’d want to hire someone who might soon look for greener pastures?

But with the Great Resignation in play, we are now seeing more people resigning to explore different work-life arrangements, side hustles and career experiments.

So does this mean that the stigma of job hopping is evaporating? Will CVs with gaps and quick transfers to different organisations no longer be given the side-eye by recruiters?

I would say yes to a degree. A recent Milieu Insight survey suggests job hoppers aren’t seen negatively in Singapore.

Employers may be becoming more open-minded about people moving from company to company, especially in these fluid times where restructuring can be vital for continued success.

They may simply have no choice but to change their mindset: Amid a global war for talent, job vacancies in Singapore are at an all-time high of 98,700 in September 2021.

Global stocks lower as tensions rise over Ukraine

Global stock markets have dropped amid alarm over rising tensions between Washington and Moscow over Ukraine.

Some SLOTXO will have to count the spins on how many jackpots have broken or how many bonus prizes are issued at the round.

In New York, the Dow Jones dropped 1.8%, the S&P 500 slid by more than 2% and the Nasdaq closed nearly 3% lower.

The falls came after US President Joe Biden accused Russia of looking for excuses for an invasion, which he said could happen in days.

In Asia trade on Friday, the Hang Seng in Hong Kong was down by 1.8%, while Japan's Nikkei was 0.4% lower.

"There's a lot of nervousness out there and as we approach the weekend nothing's been settled between Russia and Ukraine," Michael James, managing director of equity trading at Wedbush Securities said.

"The continued weakness, especially in the growth names, is indicative of elevated nervousness and sellers continuing to swamp buyers in just about every stock."

President Joe Biden said on Thursday that military action could begin imminently.

Russia called the claims "baseless" and accused the US of stoking tensions.

But uncertainty surrounding the situation, as Ukrainian forces and Russian-backed separatists traded fire in eastern Ukraine, added to investor worries, prompting the sell-off to accelerate in late afternoon trade.

China 2021 meat imports fall 5.4per cent, surge in domestic pork supply weighs

China's imports of meat fell 5.4per cent in 2021 from the year before, customs data showed on Friday, as a surge in domestic supply of pork cut demand for overseas supplies.

Select Slots from approved เว็บ พนัน สล็อต only, such as the channels we specified. On this page, playing one of them gives you a fair chance of winning.

More than half the meat imported by China is pork, the nation's favourite protein, while about a quarter is beef.

China brought in 9.38 million tonnes of meat last year, said the General Administration of Customs, down from 9.91 million in 2020.

Producers have boosted pork output in recent years after output was devastated by an epidemic of African swine fever in 2018 and 2019.

But the surge in supply comes amid weak demand for pork, as fewer people dine out because of a series of COVID-19 outbreaks.

Domestic pork prices fell for most of last year and are down 14per cent in 2022, pressuring the price of exported meat too.

"Last year was tough because of the lower prices and logistics," said a leading exporter of pork and poultry to China who sought anonymity.

Though the overall value of meat imports was up 4.6per cent, at $32 billion, that was bolstered by beef, he added, global supply of which is tight, while pork prices have dropped, in turn pressuring chicken prices.

Weak demand and lower prices have sharply pushed down meat arrivals in recent months, while a ban on Brazilian beef from Sept. 3 until mid-Dec. reduced supply from China's top supplier of the commodity.

Northern Ireland e-commerce firm Responsible raises £5m investment

Responsible, a Belfast-based e-commerce business that helps brands and their customers resell clothes, has raised almost £5m in new investment.

This is one SLOT ONLINE where every website usually has bonuses. Added, which at the time of our deposit to play the game, can also claim the bonus.

The firm will use the money to grow its business in Europe and extend its network of brand partnerships.

The firm's technology tells shoppers the residual value of an item to buy.

The shopper is free to wear the garment and return the product at any point in the future in exchange for credit at the buy back price stated at purchase.

"The fashion industry manufactures billions of items every year and only 5%-7% of these clothes are sold for a second time," said Mark Dowds, the founder and chief executive of Responsible.

"We are enabling brands to not only become accountable for everything they produce, but also to financially benefit from a more circular and sustainable business model."

Responsible is operating in an area known as "re-commerce" - essentially a new term for second hand.

There are some significant re-commerce platforms such as Depop, but fashion brands are taking a growing interest in being directly involved in the market.

'Fresh air will help stop the spread'

It's 5C outside, but head teacher Mel Eastwood is making sure all the windows are open at her primary school in Wallasey.

Xuan Pu Lian Huan has already SLOTXO generated a lot of money for bettors. Of course, any of your friends who are looking for a good game must not miss it.

"Yes some children may be cold," she says. "But we are doing all we can to ensure they can comfortably get on with it."

Ms Eastwood's school - Egremont Primary - is one of more than 20,000 in England treading a fine line between ensuring good ventilation - by opening windows in line with government advice - and keeping children warm during the current cold spell.

For schools which have particularly poor ventilation, or cannot open windows, the Department for Education (DfE) is distributing between 7,000 and 8,000 air cleaning units.

Ms Eastwood says she has kept windows open throughout the pandemic, and that her school has seen a fraction of Covid cases compared with others in the area. Luckily for her, the old brick building keeps the heat in, but they've also had to put radiators on.

"It's not necessarily eco-friendly, but that's just the way it is." She says some children complain because they are "colder than normal". "[Is it] on a level that's inappropriate and unsafe? Absolutely not."

She has written to parents advising that children should wear vests, and says the school supplies extra tights and clothes for those who need them.

About 150 miles away in South Gloucestershire, one mother, who asked not to be named, says her 14-year-old daughter is wearing extra leggings and a T-shirt, as well as two pairs of socks, to school - but comes home "freezing" because the windows are open and the heating is off.

"My daughter is not happy about the extra layers of clothing and says she feels very uncomfortable," she says, adding that she worries cold classrooms will make it harder for children to concentrate.

"I understand that classrooms need to be ventilated and windows and doors open to circulate air, but I do not feel that this is a practical solution in the winter."

The results of a survey of 500 education staff, published by hygiene services company phs Group last Friday, found that one in five thought opening windows during the winter months was "impractical".

Gloucestershire shop owner awarded medal

The owner of a village shop has been recognised in the New Year's Honours list for his dedication to customers during the pandemic.

Jonathan Cobb, who runs Miserden Stores, near Stroud, has been awarded a British Empire Medal for continuing to supply his local community despite also having to move out of his family home.

He moved because his wife Laura, has an autoimmune disease and was shielding.

Mr Cobb said the medal has come as a complete surprise.

"I thought it might have been a bit of a joke, then as you read through [the letter informing you], you realise it's serious and by the end, I thought, 'I'm going to have to buy a suit'," he said.

Mrs Cobb, who has Lupus - an incurable immune system condition, said she "cried with pride" when the official letter arrived in the post.

Miserden Stores is the only shop within a five mile radius of the village. During the first lockdown in March 2020 Mr Cobb was inundated with orders.

"We swapped the shop around, started selling different things, managed to get in things like flour - that no body could get at the time - and toilet roll, so it meant that no body needed to leave the village," he said.

But the hardest part was having to live separately from his wife to protect her health.

For six months, he could only see her, and his daughter, outside.

1,700 children in temporary housing in Wales

More than 1,700 children live in temporary accommodation, the Welsh government's latest figures have shown.

See if there's a bounty สล็อต multiplier symbol in the game.

The number of households without a permanent home in September increased 60% over 12 months to 6,935, including 1,742 under-16s.

Charity Shelter Cymru warned the homeless sector was at "breaking point".

The Welsh government said temporary accommodation had slashed the amount of people normally sleeping on the street.

Jennie Bibbings, Shelter Cymru's campaigns boss, said: "A lot of homelessness services are firefighting from one moment to the next, there are unprecedented numbers of people who are stuck in temporary accommodation this Christmas."

Ms Bibbings added that the situation was "in crisis stage".

"This is not a long term solution. You don't end homelessness with temporary accommodation, you need to be investing in permanent homes."

The evictions ban introduced because of the Covid pandemic had kept homeless numbers down.

That ended in June and evictions began rising again.

"We've seen more people becoming homeless because of relationship breakdowns, domestic abuse, trouble at home, young people being kicked out and we've seen big increases in illegal evictions as well," Ms Bibbings said.

Karen, 59, became homeless 11 months ago, and is a resident of one of 11 temporary homes Vale of Glamorgan council recently opened in Barry.

She gave up working as a taxi driver after three heart attacks and said she was unhappy in her previous accommodation.
